Apple's special event on 1st September

Apple has announced a Special Event on 1st September, Wednesday with an invite being sent to journalists. The event will be held at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco, but it has no tagline that is accepted with Apple. However, the aggregation accompanying the invite with account includes music-themed event with an acoustic guitar having a sound hole of an Apple logo. AppleInsider reports that Apple expected that it is likely to launch a new Apple iPod touch possibly a touchscreen iPod shuffle and an updated Apple TV.

China Unicom plans to offer Apple iPhone 4

Finally, iPhone fans in China have got what they are awaiting. Good news is that China Unicom plans to offer iPhone 4 in China next month. AppleInsider reports that Apple will launch iPhone 4 in China early next month. Also, Caixin media group reported on its website of the same mentioning a Unicom source. Apple also responded to permit Unicom to extend iPad in China, but the products won't be launched simultaneously. The company started offering iPhone 3GS model with wireless Internet capability earlier this month.

Apple's iPhone iOS 4.0.2 and iPad 3.2.2 software updates available

AppleInsider reveals that Apple has released iOS 4.0.2 for all iPhones, iPod touches, and iOS 3.2.2 for iPad to patch the PDF exploit. The updates cover a PDF exploit found in Mobile accessories that were used by hackers to "jailbreak" the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.  iOS 4.0.2 is available for iPhones and iPod touch devices and iOS 3.2.2 update is available for all iPad accessories.

Apple Introduces Compatibility Labs for Developers

Apple has started a fresh developer initiative, “Single Day Pass”, to allow registered developers acceptance to one of its compatibility lab. AppleInsider reveals that Apple now contributes Single Lab Day Passes to associates its Mac Developer Program. The $99 pass allows admission to one of Apple's compatibility labs for a day. Apple says it has more than 500 configurations on hand for compatibility testing, along with plenty of accessories and networking hardware.

Apple preparing to bring out Safari Extensions gallery

Apple is preparing the official launch of the new feature with its featured extensions gallery in the future. AppleInsider reveals that Apple has sent an email to developers prompting to submit their Safari 5 extensions for featuring on the company's new "Safari Extensions Gallery". Apple released Safari 5 at its Worldwide Developers Conference. Safari 5 includes support for extensions, and will allow users to increase the visibility and add-ones created by third-party developers to offer new functionalities.

Apple still has not provided an official date for the launch, but it does appear to be approaching in the almost near future.

Apple brings video relay calling for deaf and hearing impaired

Apple and AT&T bring a video broadcast calling to assist deaf and hearing impaired. Apple showed a commercial in early June for the iPhone that shows off possibilities with video chat function. AppleInsider reveals that Apple, AT&T teamed up with ZVRS to accompany video broadcast calling via the iPhone 4 and its Face Time video functionality.

Apple updates MobileMe iDisk app to support iPhone and iPad

Apple brings MobileMe iDisk support for Multitasking within iOS 4 for iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4. AppleInsider reveals that Apple updated its MobileMe iDisk appliance to version 1.2, which supports multitasking and for the iPad. By MobileMe iDisk, user can view and share the files on iDisk appropriate from iPad and iPhone. Apple’s MobileMe iDisk app is available from the App Store or through iTunes.

•    Quick access to recently viewed apps and documents.
•    Admission to view Public folders.
•    Directory for viewed apps and documents displayed.

Apple releases iMovie App

Get the fresh iMovie app for iPhone OS 4 from the App Store, which comes with the ability to customize and share videos, movies directly on your iPhone. AppleInsider reports that Apple has designed iMovie app for multi-touch technology on iPhone OS, which offers actionable editing features that was not accessible in previous mobile devices. HD aficionados will be anxious for the ability to upload HD video to YouTube from the phones. As it stands now, users can sync the video to computer, and again upload it from there for maximum quality. The new App is $4.99 and requires an iPhone 4. It allows users to create, customize and share movies of friends, family, or special events while on the go.
